I’m Karamjit Chana — a founder and technologist who has spent eighteen years turning “impossible” into infrastructure that holds real value.
My career doesn’t run in a straight line through one industry — and that is the entire point. I’ve founded and led ventures across financial technology, blockchain and distributed-ledger systems, IoT, large-scale engineering and construction, and consumer goods. Each taught a different, hard discipline: regulated money, cryptography, connected hardware, physical delivery, brand and scale.
Put together, they give me something almost no one has — the range to take an idea from silicon and settlement all the way to a running, real-world operation, inside a single team. That range is why my current mission is the most ambitious of all.
Today I build sovereign digital infrastructure: the currency a nation issues, the data centers it runs on, the security that protects it, and the intelligence it trains — engineered so the nation owns all of it. Most companies can’t attempt this. It demands every one of my five disciplines at once.
The proof is measurable, not rhetorical: a venture portfolio valued at more than $360 million, six patents filed across the United States and Canada, and systems that are built, demonstrable, and running today.
My work began with a simple injustice — billions of people still lack real access to banking and financial services. Everything I’ve built since has been a way to change that.
For over a decade I’ve built the rails of financial inclusion: digital wallets for emerging nations, regulated financial infrastructure, and payment systems that let someone working abroad pay a bill for their family back home. The point was never the technology — it was access.
The sovereign stack I build today is that same mission at the scale of nations: put ownership of money, compute, and intelligence back in the hands of the people who depend on it. Inclusion and sovereignty are the same idea, told at two scales.
